Attractive pricing can steer students to more healthful choices. In the Fall of 2001, North High School in Minneapolis replaced all but one of its soda machines with 10 water and two juice machines. Pricing the soda at $1.25 and water at 75¢ resulted in water outselling pop, compared to the same period the year before.
