FREE Breakfast & Lunch for Children this Summer!!

During the school year, 83% or every 4 out students in Tulsa Schools are reliant upson Free and Reduced price meals to assure they receive the nutrition they need.  Ever wondered what those same kids do for food during the summer?  Sadly the answer to that question is often go hungry or be undernourished.

Summer Cafe (formerly known as the Summer Food Service Program) was created to provide nutritious meals to any child ages 18 and under to continue their physical and social development, FREE of charge during the summer months.  There are 70 plus serving locations in Tulsa.

In 2010, The Summer Cafe served over 53,332 breakfasts, 103,225 lunches, and 25,526 afternoon snacks.  This summer the program will run from June 8th through August 12th.
