Did you know that hunger is a struggle for 1 in 6 Americans?

The Positive Ways peer educators have decided to take action and raise awareness about the issue by accepting the Pound for Pound Challenge. The Pound For Pound Challenge is simply this - for every pound that you pledge to lose, the Pound For Pound Challenge will donate one pound of groceries to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.  The goal that our peer educators have set is to get a total of 10,000 pounds pledged by May 31, 2011.

We are asking that you log onto www.pfpchallenge.com and join the Positive Ways team and pledge to lose at least 10 pounds. (There is an option to maintain your current weight and that counts as 5 pounds)  Joining the team is simple and only takes 2 minutes! The "Pound For Pound" challenge is open to everyone, however, you must be 18yrs old to join. In order to make this event a success we need as many participants as possible, so please invite as many people as you can to join our team.

With your partnership we can embody the mission of OICA and the Regional Food Bank by  “Protecting Kids”  while also “Fighting Hunger and Feeding Hope.”
